How It Works
Our document preparation process is straightforward, transparent, and designed to make your experience as smooth as possible. Here is exactly what to expect when you work with LZ Immigration Services:
Free Initial Consultation
Contact us to schedule a free consultation by phone, in person, or virtually. During this consultation, you will explain your immigration situation and goals. We will listen carefully and explain which forms may be relevant to your case, what documents are generally needed, and how we can assist you. Please note: We cannot advise you on whether you qualify for any immigration benefit — for that, you would need to consult with a licensed immigration attorney.
Document Collection
We will provide you with a detailed checklist of all the documents and information needed for your specific forms. You gather the required items — such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, passports, tax records, and photographs — and bring or send them to us. We help you understand what each document is and why it is needed, but document procurement is your responsibility.
Written Service Agreement
Before we begin any work, we will provide you with a written service agreement that outlines exactly what we will do, our fees, and what fees are our service charges versus USCIS government filing fees. As required by Arizona law (ARS § 41-1841), you will receive a full written contract prior to the start of any services. You will keep a copy and we will keep a copy.
Form Preparation
Our experienced preparers will carefully and accurately complete your USCIS forms based on the information and documents you provide. We double-check each form for completeness, consistency, and accuracy. We organize all supporting documents in the correct order and format them according to USCIS requirements. You review everything before it is submitted.
Your Review & Signature
You review the completed forms and supporting documents. We walk you through each form to make sure everything looks correct and that you understand what you are signing. Any necessary corrections are made before final submission. You sign all required forms — your signature certifies the accuracy of the information provided to USCIS.
Submission & Follow-Up
Once you have reviewed and signed everything, we help you submit your completed application package to USCIS. We can assist you in understanding USCIS receipt notices, processing times, and what to generally expect after submission. Important: We cannot represent you before USCIS, appear on your behalf at interviews, or provide legal advice about your case outcome. For those needs, please consult a licensed immigration attorney.
